What the CSV Contains

Troubleshooting

"Comments are turned off" message

The creator has disabled comments, so YouTube has nothing to return.

Fewer comments than the number under the video

That number includes replies, and held-for-review and spam comments are not available. The export has the top-level comments YouTube returns.

The export stopped early

If YouTube or the hourly limit interrupts an export, you still get the comments fetched so far, with a note above the table. Download the CSV, or wait a few minutes and run it again. If a video has fewer comments than you chose, the export simply ends when there are no more.

"Hourly limit" or "limiting requests" message

To keep the tool free for everyone, each visitor can export a limited amount per hour, and YouTube also limits requests. Wait a few minutes and try again.
